8/27/2017 0 Comments TEAMWORKThere are so many favorite parts about our Tough Mudder Half experience yesterday.
My four word takeaway is this... TEAMWORK COMMITMENT FAITH HOPE In my opinion, we had no clue what TEAMWORK truly meant until this event. We did, however, discover that we were all COMMITTED. We used our FAITH in each other and in the other strangers to get through the entire course and came out with HOPE of a stronger future for ourselves and our team. As 1:30 approached we lined up next to what we thought was the Start. The lady waved us through and told us to GO. Wow! We jumped and ran like bats out of hell! Totally yelling and screaming and jumping only to come out to a group of a FEW HUNDRED others waiting to start! Wow! Good thing we got a break! The "man" with his pep talk was AMAZING. He prepped us for teamwork and that we should leave no man behind! He prepped us for individual accomplishment and team accomplishment. He reminded us what our MILITARY go through and what our FIRST RESPONDERS and EMT go through. This man set our minds in the right direction. He was a motivator, an encourager, and a believer in US! At that moment he was a hero in my eyes because it's easy to lose your direction when you're scared of what you are about to do! He reminded us that we can overcome FEAR. We can overcome anything as a TEAM. This man reminded me of why I CHOSE the Tough Mudder over any other competition around. TEAMWORK And my team was AWESOME! Matter of fact, I've not felt so close to a group of people in five years!! I'm HAPPY! I'm PROUD! And I'm EXCITED for BLTraining and it's team!
