philosophy # 2 - cardiovascular endurance

HEART, LUNGS, Core Respiratory Muscles are the focus of having good cardiovascular endurance.

Why?  Growing and maintaining better cardiovascular endurance is STRENGTH TRAINING for your HEART.  Having a strong heart allows your body to perform longer and stronger for everyday tasks.

WHERE does FAT go when you lose it?  It leaves your body with your EXHALE!
We focus on good breathing for all kinds of reasons.

When you breathe and move your body uses a mixture of body fat and carbohydrate (glycogen) for fuel.  We will train your body to use "mostly" body fat for fuel.

Knowing how to use your breath to calm your body during anxious times is a life saver.

The breath is quite honestly, my favorite subject.

We will work on cardiovascular endurance mostly through functional training, starting out with moves you perform in your everyday life.  Depending on your goals dictates how we move forward from there.
