Have you wondered what it's like to train by video? Think it won't work as well?
I used to think the same way.
As a personal trainer who takes pride in being very observant, I wasn't ready to accept that training by video could work anywhere near as well.
Then one year I started practicing virtual training with my clients that spend time in Florida in the winter.
Voila! It has been turning out so fabulous!
The first year it was awesome to keep them moving and motivated. By the second year we were mastering "maintain mode" and by the third year we were working on goals all winter long!
Since Covid has appeared we've taken virtual training to a whole new level by incorporating the Trainerize app into each clients program. Now they have a plan for each day of the week if necessary. We still have our one on one time and they also have instructions for the rest of the week!
We've made it work in super small rooms, large rooms, no equipment, some equipment and all the equipment.
We've made it work for those who can only work upper body. We've made it work for those who have no room to run around.
We've worked on flexibility, strength, mobility, cardio...you name it! We've done it.
I'm super happy to say that each of my personal clients have either maintained their progress and body stats, or exceeded both our expectations with goals and body stats!
